- Infringement risk - AI may reproduce copyrighted elements
Guidelines for AI-Generated Content
- Never claim AI-generated content as entirely original work
- Do not input copyrighted material for AI to reproduce
- Always review AI output for potential copyright issues
- Document when content is AI-assisted
- Obtain necessary licenses for AI-generated works
Protecting Company IP
- Never input proprietary code into public AI tools
- Do not share trade secrets with AI services
- Be aware that AI providers may use your inputs for training
- Use enterprise-grade AI tools with appropriate data protections
Key Rule: Treat AI tools as if any data you input could become public. Never input anything you wouldn't want a competitor to see.
